Who Can Apply?

Medical Officer 'G' (Anaesthesiology) - Level 13A:

• M.D. / D.N.B. (Anaesthesia) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), with 13 years of post-PG experience in Anaesthesia at a teaching hospital.

Medical Officer 'F' (Interventional Radiology) - Level 13:

• D.M. (Interventional Radiology) with 5 years post-D.M. experience, OR M.D./D.N.B. (Radio-diagnosis) with 8 years post-PG experience.

Medical Officer 'E' posts - Level 12:

• Intensivist (Critical Care): D.M. (Critical Care), or M.D./D.N.B. (Anaesthesia/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Pediatrics) with 3 years' post-PG experience in Critical Care.
• Medical Oncology (Solid Tumor): D.M./D.N.B. (Medical Oncology).
• Nuclear Medicine: M.D./D.N.B. (Nuclear Medicine) with 3 years' post-PG experience.
• Pathology: D.M. (Oncopathology/Haematopathology) or M.D./D.N.B. (Pathology) with 3 years' post-PG experience.
• Surgical Oncology: M.Ch./D.N.B. (Surgical Oncology).

Officer-in-Charge (Dispensary) - Level 10:

• B.Pharm with a PG Degree/Diploma in Material Management or Business Administration and 5 years' relevant experience (10 years without the PG), OR MBBS with a PG Degree/Diploma in Material Management/Business Administration and 4 years' relevant experience.

Assistant Dietician (Food Service) - Level 06:

• M.Sc. (Food Science & Nutrition / Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics) or M.Sc./M.A. Home Science (Food & Nutrition) with 1 year of experience after your PG degree. Registered Dieticians with Oncology Nutrition experience are preferred.

Age Limit

• Medical Officer 'G' (Anaesthesiology): up to 55 years
• Medical Officer 'F' (Interventional Radiology): up to 50 years
• Medical Officer 'E' posts (Critical Care/Oncology/Nuclear Medicine/Pathology/Surgical Oncology): up to 45 years
• Officer-in-Charge (Dispensary): up to 40 years
• Assistant Dietician: up to 30 years
• Age and experience are reckoned as on 10 August 2026 (last date of application).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST get 5 years, OBC get 3 years, PwBD get 10 years (plus 5 more for SC/ST, 3 more for OBC), and Ex-servicemen get their length of service plus 3 years. TMC employees on temporary/project/contract basis get up to 5 years relaxation.

Salary

• Medical Officer 'G' (Anaesthesiology): Rs. 1,31,100 per month (Level 13A)
• Medical Officer 'F' (Interventional Radiology): Rs. 1,23,100 per month (Level 13)
• Medical Officer 'E' posts: Rs. 78,800 per month (Level 12)
• Officer-in-Charge (Dispensary): Rs. 56,100 per month (Level 10)
• Assistant Dietician: Rs. 35,400 per month (Level 06)
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per TMC rules, along with medical facility and residential accommodation subject to availability.

Application Fee

• All candidates: Rs. 300 (payable online via Debit/Credit Card)
• SC / ST / Female candidates / Persons with Disabilities / Ex-servicemen (applying for the first time for a civil post after military service): No fee
• The fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection process differs by post:

1. Medical Officer and Officer-in-Charge posts: Selection is through Interview only - there is no written exam for these posts.
2. Assistant Dietician posts: Selection is through a Written Examination (100 marks, MCQ or MCQ & Subjective, based on your area of specialization) followed by an Interview.
3. Document Verification: You must carry original documents along with one set of copies for verification at the time of your Interview/Written Exam.

3. For Officer-in-Charge (Dispensary) and Assistant Dietician posts, register at the Non-Medical Posts application portal.

5. Upload all required documents as mentioned in the form.
6. Pay the application fee online (where applicable) and submit.

• Provide specialist medical care to cancer patients in your area of expertise (anaesthesiology, radiology, critical care, oncology, pathology or surgery)

• Participate in teaching and training of resident doctors as per National Medical Commission norms
• Manage dispensary operations, inventory and drug procurement (for the Officer-in-Charge post)
