SPMCIL is a Mini-Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India, working under the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. The company designs and manufactures security papers, prints currency and bank notes, passports, stamp papers, and postage stamps, and mints coins at its units across Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Noida, Nashik, Dewas, and Narmadapuram. Through Advertisement No. 02/2026, SPMCIL has released 24 vacancies across 7 different post categories for management professionals. One post out of the first six is reserved for PwBD candidates under horizontal reservation, and several posts carry backlog vacancies for OBC and ST candidates.

Backlog vacancies: 1 OBC and 1 ST post under Assistant Manager (HR), and 1 OBC post under Assistant Manager (IT).

Who Can Apply?

Deputy Manager (IT) - Application Developer (Level E-2):

• 1st Class full-time B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics & Communication (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA)
• 3 years' post-qualification experience as an Executive in a PSU, Government office, or reputed private company (turnover above Rs. 50 crore)
• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in C#, Java, JavaScript, ASP.NET, or PHP

Assistant Manager (HR) (Level E-1):

• 1st Class full-time Master's Degree in Personnel Management & IR/MSW/MBA with HR elective, or an equivalent 2-year PG Diploma in Management with HR elective

Assistant Manager (F&A) (Level E-1):

• B.Com degree along with CA or ICWA

Assistant Manager (MM) (Level E-1):

• 1st Class full-time Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Pulp & Paper Technology/Electronics/Printing Technology, plus a 2-year PG degree/diploma/MBA in Materials Management, Stores Management, Purchase, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management

Assistant Manager (IT) (Level E-1):

• 1st Class full-time MCA, or 1st Class B.Tech in Computer Engineering/IT

Assistant Manager (OL) (Level E-1):

• 1st Class Master's degree in Hindi or English (with the other language at Graduation level), plus 2 years' experience translating Hindi to English and vice versa
• Desirable: Knowledge of Sanskrit or another modern Indian language, and proficiency working on computers in Hindi

Assistant Manager (Safety) (Level E-1):

• Engineering/Technology Degree + 2 years' supervisory factory experience, OR Physics/Chemistry Degree + 5 years' supervisory experience, OR Engineering/Technology Diploma + 6 years' supervisory experience, OR 6 years in training/education/consultancy/research in accident prevention
• Plus a recognized Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety
• Adequate knowledge of Hindi or Marathi is required as per the place of posting

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 35 years for Deputy Manager (IT) and 30 years for all Assistant Manager posts, as on 24 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years and OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation for reserved posts.
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation for Unreserved, 15 years for SC/ST, and 13 years for OBC candidates, where PwBD reservation applies (minimum 40% disability required).
• Ex-Servicemen get age relaxation as per Government rules. There is no age bar for in-service SPMCIL employees who meet the qualification and experience criteria and have at least 3 years of service left.
• No age relaxation is given to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against Unreserved vacancies.

Salary

• Deputy Manager (IT) gets Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 per month at Level E-2 of the IDA pay scale.
• Assistant Manager posts get Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month at Level E-1 of the IDA pay scale.
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per SPMCIL rules.

• SC / ST / PwBD: Rs. 200 (non-refundable intimation charge, inclusive of GST)

Selection Process

Selection is based on an online test and an interview:

1. Online Test (75% weightage): Objective type exam covering Professional Knowledge, General Awareness, English Language, and Logical Reasoning.
2. Document Verification: Your eligibility documents are checked only after you qualify in the online test.
3. Interview (25% weightage)
