RVNL is hiring 1 post of Additional General Manager / Joint General Manager / Senior Deputy General Manager (Civil) on deputation basis. The posting is in New Delhi for the DMRC project. If you are a Group A officer in the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) or a similar central/state government service, you can apply through proper channel. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) AGM/JGM/Sr.DGM Civil Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has issued Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/21-CIVIL for one post in the Civil Engineering Department. The selected officer will work on the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) project. The deputation period is five years, subject to the Government's approval for exemption to RVNL from the rule of immediate absorption.

Who Can Apply?

You must be a serving officer in Government Organisations, PSUs, CPSEs, Metro Rail Corporations, or Central/State Government Companies with the following grades:

For AGM (Civil) - Level 13-A (CDA) / E-7 (IDA), Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000:

• Officers holding analogous grade (CDA/IDA) on substantive basis, OR
• Officers in Level-13 (CDA) with 12-14 years' service in Group 'A', OR
• Officers in IDA E-6 grade (Rs. 90,000-2,40,000) for four years

For JGM (Civil) - Level-13 (CDA) / E-6 (IDA), Rs. 90,000-2,40,000:

• Officers holding analogous grade (CDA/IDA) on substantive basis, OR
• Officers in Level-12 (CDA) with 8-12 years' service in Group 'A', OR
• Officers in IDA E-5 grade (Rs. 80,000-2,20,000) for four years

For Sr.DGM (Civil) - Level-12 (CDA) / E-5 (IDA), Rs. 80,000-2,20,000:

• Officers holding analogous grade (CDA/IDA) on substantive basis, OR
• Officers in Senior Scale (Level-11), OR
• Officers in Group 'B' (Level-10) with 10 years' service in Group 'B' (Gazetted), OR
• Officers in IDA E-4 grade (Rs. 70,000-2,00,000) for four years

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in planning, execution, and management of infrastructure projects, especially Metro Rail / Urban Rail / MRTS projects in Metro Rail Corporations, CPSEs, PSUs, or Central/State Government Companies.

Age Limit

• You must be below 56 years as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.
• Cut-off date for age and eligibility: 27 May 2026 (closing date).

Salary

• For AGM (Civil): Level 13-A (CDA) / E-7 (IDA) - Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 2,60,000 per month
• For JGM (Civil): Level-13 (CDA) / E-6 (IDA) - Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2,40,000 per month
• For Sr.DGM (Civil): Level-12 (CDA) / E-5 (IDA) - Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2,20,000 per month
• You will get Parent Pay plus Deputation Allowance as per central government rules.

Selection Process

Selection is based on the following process:

1. Screening of Applications: Applications received through proper channel are screened against the eligibility criteria.
2. Vigilance / DAR Clearance Check: Controlling Officer / Zonal Railways must forward applications of only eligible candidates with vigilance and DAR clearance.
3. APAR Review: Last 5 years' APAR grading is reviewed.
4. Final Selection: Based on document and credentials assessment by RVNL.

There is no written exam for this deputation post.

• Plan, execute, and manage civil infrastructure works for the DMRC project on behalf of RVNL
• Supervise tendering, contract management, and quality control of civil engineering works
• Coordinate with DMRC, contractors, consultants, and government agencies
• Review project schedules, technical drawings, and execution plans
• Monitor cost, time, and quality parameters of metro rail civil works
• Prepare progress reports and project status updates for senior management
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations on site
• Lead the civil engineering team and resolve technical issues during execution
