Exam Pattern

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection is purely merit-based.

How the Merit List is Prepared

  • Matriculation Marks: Your percentage in all subjects in 10th class (aggregate marks, not best-of-five)
  • ITI Marks: Average marks from the consolidated statement of all semesters mentioned in your Provisional National Trade Certificate
  • Final Score: Simple average of Matriculation percentage + ITI percentage

The merit list is prepared cluster-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise in descending order of percentage. If you have the same marks as another candidate, the older candidate gets preference.

Boards that give grades instead of marks: For SSC candidates from Andhra Pradesh Board, Kerala Board, etc., RRC will calculate marks by taking the midpoint of the grade range for each subject.
