- JGM – Civil (Tunnel): B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for reserved)
- DGM and Manager – Transport Economist: B.E. Civil/B.Arch/B.Planning + Master's in Economics, Statistics, Finance/Management, Transport Engineering/Planning/Economics

- JGM: Minimum 13 years
- DGM: Minimum 11 years
- Manager: Minimum 5 years

Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise engineering projects in the assigned domain
- Carry out transport economic studies, traffic surveys, and demand forecasting
- Prepare detailed project reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and consultants on project execution
- Manage tunnel design and civil construction activities (JGM – Civil/Tunnel)
- Analyse transport data and prepare economic models for infrastructure projects
- Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications for quality compliance
- Guide and supervise junior team members on project tasks
- Represent RITES in meetings, presentations, and project reviews
- Handle project monitoring and ensure timely completion within budget
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering with 60% marks; Master's degree required for Transport Economist posts
Preferred Qualification
Master's in Economics, Statistics, Finance/Management, Transport Engineering/Planning/Economics
Required Skills
Civil Engineering, Transport Economics, Project Management, DPR preparation
Age Limit
18 - 43 years (as on 16 Mar 2026)
Experience
5.0 - 13.0 years
JGM requires 13 years, DGM requires 11 years, Manager requires 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
