Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and India's second-largest national upstream Oil & Gas company with a pan-India presence and global footprint, has issued Advertisement No. HRAQ/CONT-WP-B/26-291 to engage 1 Contractual Data Assistant (Medical) at Field Headquarters, Duliajan. You will support the hospital's Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Mitra (PMAM) desk, handle I-RAD road accident data reporting, and manage birth and death registration on the Assam government portal. This is a purely contractual role with no claim to regular employment at OIL, and involves working in shifts — including “On-Call” duty — at OIL's remote and far-flung installations.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a government-recognized institute/university.
• Computer Skills: A Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application of at least 6 months duration, and you must be fully conversant with MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year post-qualification relevant work experience in a Government/Semi-Government/PSU/Public Limited/Private organization.
• Domicile: Only candidates domiciled in Assam or Arunachal Pradesh can apply.
• Reservation: The single post is Unreserved (UR). PwBD candidates with Low Vision, Hard of Hearing, and various locomotor/other disabilities are also considered suitable.
• Before You Register: Make sure you meet every eligibility condition before registering — candidates who do not meet the notified criteria, or who arrive without original documents and certificates, will not be allowed to appear for the Walk-in Personal Assessment.
• Age Proof: Only the date of birth mentioned in your Class 10 (or equivalent) marksheet or certificate issued by a recognized education board will be accepted — no other document will be considered as valid proof of age.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years as on the date of registration for the Walk-in Personal Assessment.
• Maximum age: 40 years for General category candidates.

Salary

• You will get a fixed emolument of Rs. 21,450 per month, based on attendance including paid leave and holidays.
• You will also get a variable emolument of Rs. 825 per day for each day you actually work.
• Statutory benefits of Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Gratuity will apply during your contract period.
• You will need to submit your Universal Account Number (UAN) to OIL for EPF compliance at the time of engagement.

Selection Process

Selection is done through a Walk-in Personal Assessment — there is no written exam:

1. Walk-in Registration: Complete your registration at the venue between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on 12 August 2026. No candidate is allowed to register after this window.
2. Walk-in Personal Assessment: Conducted for a total of 100 marks, evaluating your professional knowledge and skills (in the concerned and allied discipline), and your personal attributes and soft skills.
3. Merit-Based Selection: You need to score at least 50 out of 100 (qualifying marks) to be considered for final selection, which is purely on merit.

Contract Tenure: The initial engagement is for 6 months, extendable up to three more times of 6 months each, for a maximum total of 24 months.

If you are provisionally selected, you must join immediately. If you cannot join on the date decided by management, you can request an extension of up to 15 days — failing to join within this extended period will cancel your provisional selection. OIL also disqualifies and debars candidates — either permanently or for a specified period from any OIL examination or test — if they are found using unfair means, impersonating someone else, misbehaving, or resorting to any irregular or improper practice during the selection process.

How to Apply

1. Reach Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited, Duliajan on 12 August 2026.
2. Complete your registration between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM — this step is mandatory before you can appear for the assessment.
3. Carry your original documents along with self-attested photocopies, including your Bio-Data Form, photo ID, address proof, Class 10 certificate, qualification certificates, computer diploma, and experience certificate.
4. Appear for the Walk-in Personal Assessment on the same day.
5. Wait for the merit-based result — no travelling or daily allowance will be paid for attending the assessment.
6. Make your own travel and accommodation arrangements — OIL will not reimburse these costs, either for attending the assessment or for joining after selection.

• Maintain accurate data entry using MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint
• Support the Medical Services Department with day-to-day administrative data work
• Complete any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department
