The Office of the Dean (Research & Consultancy), NIT Tiruchirappalli, has invited applications for 1 Project Associate I position under a research project on tailor-made sandwich polymer nanocomposites for advanced stealth systems, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Satheeshkumar V in the Department of Production Engineering. The project is funded by the I-DAPT Hub Foundation, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, under the Department of Science & Technology's National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). Selected candidates may also register for the M.S. (by research) program at NIT Trichy in the upcoming academic session. Preference will be given to candidates with a good academic record, research potential, and relevant experience, and the selection committee's decision will be final.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or an equivalent engineering discipline), qualified in first class.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 28 years.
• Age Relaxation: May be given in exceptional cases for experienced or deserving candidates.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed stipend of Rs. 25,000 per month.
• The position is for 12 months, extendable up to the project tenure.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these stages:

• Design experimental protocols for the polymer nanocomposite research project and carry them out
