About This Job
NDMA is hiring 1 Lead Consultant for Disaster Management (Nuclear and Radiological Hazards). Only retired senior scientists from DAE, AERB, BARC, or NPCIL with 15+ years experience can apply. Earn up to Rs. 2,50,000 per month -- National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is hiring a Lead Consultant for Nuclear and Radiological Hazards. This is a rare, high-paying consultancy role under the Prime Minister's disaster management body, and it's open only to retired senior scientists.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on disaster management for nuclear and radiological hazards

- Travel to field locations for intervention implementation and monitoring
- Facilitate training programs and capacity building on nuclear disaster management
- Report to the concerned Member / Joint Secretary (Division Head) of NDMA Mitigation Division

15+ years of post-qualification experience. Only retired senior scientists from DAE, AERB, BARC, NPCIL, and related nuclear/radiological institutions are eligible. Retired government officials must have held Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600 or more.
Salary & Compensation
Pay Scale
Rs. 2,00,000 - Rs. 2,50,000 per month (consolidated, inclusive of all applicable taxes)
Allowances
TA/DA, lodging and boarding expenses for official tours as per GOI/NDMA rules. Office equipment (desktop, printers, internet) provided. Annual increment of Rs. 5,000 per step on satisfactory performance. No other separate allowances.
