Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Postgraduate Degree: You need a Master's degree in Sociology or a relevant/allied subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
• NET/SET/SLET: You must have cleared NET, SET, SLET, CSIR test, or an equivalent UGC-recognised test.
• PhD Exemption: PhD holders can get exemption from NET/SET/SLET only as allowed under the relevant UGC 2009 rules and related conditions mentioned in the notice.

Selection Process

The selection has three main stages. MPPSC has confirmed an OMR-based objective exam and negative marking, followed by interview for shortlisted candidates.
