The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), through its Research and Training (RT) Division, has released a notification to engage 2 Young Professionals (YPs) in the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the JICA-supported project "Capacity Enhancement for Effective Forest Management". These professionals will provide technical, analytical and administrative support for planning, monitoring and reporting on project activities across state forest departments and partner agencies. This is a one-year contractual engagement that can be extended based on your performance, and it is a great opportunity for postgraduates in forestry or environment streams who want hands-on experience with a central government project. You will work out of Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, New Delhi, and report to the Deputy Inspector General of Forests (RT).
Who Can Apply?

- Skills: You need strong organizational, communication and analytical skills, along with proficiency in project management and productivity tools.

Salary
- You will get a consolidated monthly fee of Rs. 60,000 for this assignment, as per MoD-JICA norms.
- No additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance, residential accommodation or CGHS are payable, except travel and daily allowance for official assignments as per JICA project norms and Government of India rules.
- The initial engagement is for one year and may be extended based on your performance and the continued need for the project.
- You get one day of leave per month, and either you or the Ministry can end the engagement with one month's notice. Absence for 8 continuous days without information leads to automatic termination.
