Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree from the relevant faculty recognised by Kerala Agricultural University.
• Master's Degree: in the relevant subject (Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, or Agronomy) recognised by KAU with a minimum of 55% marks in the traditional system or its equivalent.
• NET Requirement: You must qualify the National Eligibility Test conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR/ASRB or a similar UGC-accredited test. If no NET-qualified candidate is available, applicants with a Ph.D or Master's degree in the concerned discipline recognised by KAU will also be considered.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Malayalam (read and write) and a Ph.D in the relevant subject recognised by KAU.

Age Limit

• You should not be over 50 years old as on 1 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Extra age relaxation applies for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities as prescribed in the Kerala State and Subordinate Services Rules, 1958, as amended from time to time.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 44,100 for each post.
• This is a fixed monthly pay under contract terms — no other allowances are mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done directly through a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Bring the filled Annexure I application form along with self-attested copies of certificates to prove your age, qualifications and experience. Original certificates should be produced for verification at the venue.
2. Walk-in Interview: Held on 23 July 2026 at 9:30 AM at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pattambi.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview. If selected, you will need to execute an agreement on a stamp paper worth Rs. 200.
