IIT Indore Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) has released Advt. No. IITI/RMO/01/2026 dated 5 May 2026 for the post of Residential Medical Officer (On Contract). IIT Indore is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for interview, and the institute will inform shortlisted and selected applicants by email.

This is a Health Centre role at IIT Indore, Khandwa Road, Simrol, Indore. The selected doctor will handle OPD, emergency, casualty, and IPD-related medical support for the campus community. IIT Indore has stated that the engagement is purely temporary and will not create any right to claim regular employee status at the institute.

Essential Qualification

• MBBS route: You must have an MBBS degree from a university recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), including completion of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI).

• Registration: Registration for medical practice in Madhya Pradesh is required. If you do not already have it, you must submit it within the stipulated time.

Experience

• Preferred Areas: Experience is preferred in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, family medicine, anaesthesia, ENT, cardiology, or emergency medicine.
