Indian Institute of Technology Goa (IIT Goa) has released advertisement number IITGoa/DoRD/016/REC/2026 dated 11.05.2026 for the position of ANRF-Project Associate-I. The position is under the project titled "Design, Analysis, and Development of a Robot-based Multipurpose Milling-Soft Grinding System Integrated with On-Machine Measurement for Precision Machining and Finishing of Complex Geometry", sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The nature of work covers both experimental and simulation activities. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Priyabrata Sahoo, Assistant Professor, School of Mechanical Sciences.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Materials Engineering with a minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60%, OR
• M.Tech/M.E. in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Materials Engineering with a minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60%
• You must have a qualified GATE score in the relevant streams

Desirable

• Experience in prototype development, machining, and vibration analysis

Salary

• With GATE score: Rs. 37,000 per month
• Without GATE score: Rs. 30,000 per month

• Leave Entitlements: As per the Institute norms

Duration of Appointment

• Initial appointment for one year, which will be extended further based on performance.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:
