Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi has released a project advertisement for a JRF position in Electronics Engineering. Preferred Profile

• GATE EC: The notification gives preference to applicants qualified in GATE EC.
• Research exposure: Basic hands-on exposure to sensor or biosensor fabrication and characterization will help.
• Collaboration: The JRF may work with IMS BHU, Varanasi for survey and real-time validation of the electrosensor prototype.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Age relaxation: Relaxation is available as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, physically handicapped, and female applicants.

Salary

• First two years: Rs. 37,000 plus 20% HRA, making Rs. 44,400 per month.
• From third year onward: Rs. 42,000 plus 20% HRA, making Rs. 50,400 per month.
• The post is temporary and project-linked, so salary is paid only during the approved project appointment period.
