• Without NET/GATE: Strong research profiles without NET/GATE may be considered for an equivalent Project Associate-I position at Rs. 30,000 plus HRA.

Field Assistant

• Qualification: B.Sc in any Science discipline or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institution with at least 55% marks.
• Preferred background: B.E./B.Tech, Statistics, Geography, Economics, Planning, Social Sciences or allied disciplines can help during interview assessment.
• Field work: You should be comfortable with surveys, data entry, basic data handling and travel for field campaigns in and outside Varanasi.

Age Limit

• JRF: Maximum age is 28 years as on the last date of application.
• JRF relaxation: Relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST/Women/PwD and 3 years for OBC, and also as per GoI/IIT BHU norms for relevant research experience.
• Field Assistant: Maximum age is 50 years, relaxable as per ANRF/IIT BHU norms.

Salary

• JRF Years 1-2: Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA.
• JRF Year 3 / SRF upgradation: Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA, if upgraded as per ANRF norms.
• Field Assistant: Rs. 27,000 per month plus HRA.
