ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education (ICAR-CIFE), a Deemed University under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, has released a walk-in interview notification for a Young Professional-I (YP-I) post. The role is under the project "Conducting trials of marine organism-based aquaculture feed with or without probiotics on shrimps and Tilapia models", jointly funded by M/s Organica Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai and ICT, Mumbai. This is a walk-in interview — no online application is needed. Work will be carried out at CIFE FWFF, Balbhadrapuram (Andhra Pradesh) and the CIFE Mumbai headquarters.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science, Life Sciences, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a relevant science discipline from a recognised university.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of MS Office, documentation, and report writing.
• Communication skills: Good communication in English, Hindi, and a local language (Telugu or Marathi).

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 45 years (with relaxation as per ICAR rules)

Salary

• Monthly emolument: Rs. 35,000 per month (consolidated, fixed)
• Engagement period: 6 months only, not extendable further
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process

Selection is purely interview-based — no written exam.

1. Walk-in Interview on 09 June 2026 from 10:00 AM at ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai
2. Document Verification — you must carry original and self-attested certificates from matriculation onwards, experience certificates, and one passport-size photograph
3. Final Selection based on interview performance and project requirements

Candidates without original or provisional Graduate/Master's degree certificates will not be allowed to appear.

5. Submit the application form with the declaration at the time of interview.

7. Bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your present employer, if applicable.

• Collect, record, and document trial data accurately as per project protocols
• Maintain records and prepare project reports for the Principal Investigator
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, beneficiaries, and team members
• Support communication activities and assist with documentation for project milestones
