ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education (ICAR-CIFE) Young Professional-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

ICAR-CIFE, a Deemed University under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, is hiring a Young Professional-II to run the day-to-day operations of its NABL Cell at the Versova campus in Mumbai. This is a purely contractual position that will continue until 6 September 2027. The interview is being held in hybrid mode — you can appear in person or online. This role suits candidates interested in laboratory quality management and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliance work.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Master's degree in Aquaculture / Post-Harvest Technology / Fish Biotechnology / Aquatic Health Management / Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology / Biochemistry / Microbiology or a related discipline.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, and basic skills in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or analytical chemistry.
• Place of Work: ICAR-CIFE, Versova, Mumbai.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Age relaxation applies for category and previous employment as per GOI norms — you must submit supporting certificates along with your application.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 42,000 per month (consolidated).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this post. Selection happens in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Only candidates who meet all eligibility conditions will be invited.
2. Interview (Hybrid Mode): Held on 7 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai (Room No. 421, New Campus, Yari Road).

Final selection is based on your academic performance, research experience, and interview performance.
