HAL Diploma Technician Security Guard Fireman Recruitment 2026

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, is hiring 151 Diploma Technicians, Technicians, Security Guards, Firemen, and Aircraft Technicians on a 4-year tenure basis. This recruitment covers three separate advertisements (Advt. 205, 204, and 211).

This is not a permanent job. Selected candidates will be engaged for 4 years only. You will also need to complete 8 weeks of induction training at Bangalore.

• Aircraft Technician (Airframe): 2 posts
• Aircraft Technician (Electrical): 5 posts

Salary

• Diploma Technician & Aircraft Technician: Rs. 23,000 per month (Scale-6)
• Technician (ITI): Rs. 22,000 per month (Scale-5)
• Security Guard & Fireman: Rs. 21,000 per month (Scale-4)

You will also get DA, HRA, 25% Perks, and Rs. 1,500 Medical Allowance on top of basic pay.

Who Can Apply

Diploma Technician: You need a Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).

Technician: You need 10th pass + ITI (NTC) + NAC in the relevant trade with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST).

Security Guard: You must be an Ex-Serviceman with PUC/Intermediate pass, or SSLC pass with 3 years of combatant experience.

Fireman: You must be an Ex-Serviceman with a Fire Fighting certificate and Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Aircraft Technician: You must be an Ex-Serviceman with a Diploma or equivalent military diploma.

Note: Part-time or correspondence qualifications are NOT accepted. If you have a higher qualification than what is asked, you are NOT eligible. Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Age Limit

You must be between 18 to 28 years old.

• Age counted as on 14 January 2026 (Advt. 205 & 211) and 01 January 2026 (Advt. 204)
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation
• Experience relaxation: up to 7 years

Exam Pattern

The written test will have 160 MCQ questions for 160 marks. You will get 2 hours 30 minutes to complete it. There is no negative marking.

• Part I - General Awareness: 20 questions (20 marks)
• Part II - English & Reasoning: 40 questions (40 marks)
• Part III - Concerned Discipline/Trade: 100 questions (100 marks)

• Carry out technical work related to aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, and repair as assigned
• Operate machines and equipment in the relevant trade (fitting, machining, welding, electrical, etc.)
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures at all times
• Maintain quality standards in all assigned tasks
