Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has issued File No. 134-A-14/13/Roster/2016-Admin dated 18.05.2026 for the walk-in recruitment of 5 Professors, 26 Associate Professors and 17 Assistant Professors across 21 broad specialty departments. The contract is initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years, with no entitlement to PF, pension or other service benefits. The maximum age is 69 years on the date of interview.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must meet the latest NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines as per the "Medical Institutions (Qualification of Faculty) Regulations 2025" notified on 30/06/2025.
• Basic degree: MBBS plus PG (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty.
• Medical Registration: Valid State Medical Council or NMC registration.
• Down-gradation rule: If no suitable candidate appears for a higher post, a candidate eligible for the lower post (Assistant/Associate Professor) may be interviewed for the higher post. If selected, the appointment will be at the lower post with suitable down-gradation as per the selection board's recommendation.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 69 years as on the date of interview.
• Maximum tenure: up to 70 years.

Salary

• Professor: Consolidated pay of Rs. 2,60,226 per month
• Associate Professor: Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,73,045 per month
• Assistant Professor: Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,48,669 per month
• Hostel or quarters may be provided subject to availability.
• No entitlement to PF, pension, gratuity or other service benefits.

Application Fee

• SC / ST / ESIC Employees / Female candidates / Ex-servicemen / PwD: No fee
• All other candidates: Rs. 500 (Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.1", payable at Faridabad)

A refundable security deposit of Rs. 20,000 (Demand Draft) is required for all posts. It is refunded after completion of contract and submission of No Dues Certificate. The amount is forfeited if you resign within six months (except in exceptional cases).

Selection Process

This is a walk-in recruitment with no written exam:

1. Document Verification: Only verified candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview. Reporting between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 29 May 2026.
2. Personal Interview: Held at the Faculty Reading Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad.
3. Result: Final result will be posted on www.esic.gov.in and the offer of appointment will be sent by email.

Separate applications are required for each post. The cut-off date for eligibility is the date of interview.

3. Prepare two Demand Drafts: Rs. 500 as application fee (if applicable) and Rs. 20,000 as security deposit, both in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.1" payable at Faridabad.
4. Reach the venue between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 29 May 2026 for document verification.
5. Appear for the walk-in interview after verification.

• Participate in departmental research, publications and academic activities
• Attend departmental meetings, case conferences and academic seminars
• Mark attendance via the biometric system and follow ESIC service rules
• Maintain medical records and submit reports as required by the Dean
