Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

You need a full-time B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) in one of these disciplines — Civil, Mechanical, Welding & NDT, Electrical, or Instrumentation — from a recognized university or institute.

Experience

• Grade III: Minimum 9 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• Grade IV: Minimum 13 years of post-qualification relevant experience

Your experience should be in the relevant engineering discipline you are applying for. This is a role for experienced professionals — freshers are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Grade III: Maximum 41 years
• Grade IV: Maximum 45 years

Age relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules

Salary

• Associate Engineer Grade III: Rs. 86,400 to Rs. 96,000 per month
• Associate Engineer Grade IV: Rs. 1,00,800 to Rs. 1,12,000 per month

This is a fixed-term contract engagement for 1 to 2 years. The salary is consolidated and paid monthly.

Selection Process

The selection is based on a walk-in interview. Here is the process:

1. Online Registration: Complete the online application form on the EIL recruitment portal before 19 April 2026
2. Application Printout: After submitting, download and print your application form with the registration number
3. Walk-in Interview: Report at the venue on your scheduled interview date (27 to 30 April 2026) at 8:00 AM with the printed application and all original documents
4. Document Verification: Your educational certificates, experience certificates, and ID proof will be verified at the venue

Note: No written exam is required. Selection is purely through interview. Candidates who do not register online will not be allowed to attend the walk-in.

• Work with project teams, contractors, and vendors to coordinate engineering activities and resolve technical issues
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards as per EIL's project management guidelines
• Assist in material inspection, testing, and quality control at construction sites
• Manage site documentation including daily progress reports, inspection records, and compliance reports
