DMHO Jogulamba Gadwal Lab Technician & STLS Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

The Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Jogulamba Gadwal District, Telangana has issued a notification (Rc. No. 861/Recruitment/NTEP/NHM/2026, dated 10 July 2026) to fill 5 posts — 3 Lab Technicians and 2 Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisors — under the NTEP component of the NHM Programme. These are purely temporary contract posts for one year, or till the actual need ceases, whichever comes first. No written exam is conducted — selection is based on merit from your qualifying exam marks and age. Note: applications already submitted before this notification will not be considered.

Vacancy Details

Who Can Apply?

For Lab Technician (Rs. 27,300/month):

• You need Intermediate with Biology and Physics.
• You must have a DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) from a recognized institution.
• You must be registered with the Telangana Para Medical Board.

For Senior TB Lab Supervisor - STLS (Rs. 22,100/month):

• You must have a Graduate degree in Science (B.Sc) or Diploma (DMLT) in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized university/institution.
• You need a permanent two-wheeler driving license.
• You need a certificate course in computer operations (minimum 2 months).

The notification does not ask for any prior work experience for either post — freshers with the required qualification and registration can apply.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 44 years old, reckoned as on 1 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates get 5 years relaxation. NCC instructors get 3 years plus their length of NCC service.
• PwBD: Persons with disabilities get 10 years relaxation.

Salary

• Lab Technicians get a consolidated salary of Rs. 27,300 per month.
• Senior TB Lab Supervisors (STLS) get a consolidated salary of Rs. 22,100 per month.
• These are fixed contract salaries with no separate DA/HRA mentioned.

Application Fee

• General / OBC candidates: Rs. 300 (Demand Draft in favour of DM&HO Jogulamba Gadwal).
• SC / ST / PH candidates: No fee (exempted).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done purely on merit, out of a total of 100 marks:

1. Qualifying Exam Marks: 90 marks based on your marks in the qualifying examination (DMLT/B.Sc MLT).
2. Age Weightage: 10 marks based on your age — you get 0.5 mark for every completed year of age above 18 (reckoned as on 1 July 2026), up to a maximum of 10 marks.

The merit list is prepared by the District Selection Committee, Jogulamba Gadwal, and displayed on the official website for transparency, following the Rule of Reservation (RoR) and Presidential Orders, including 33 1/3% reservation for women candidates. Selected candidates must maintain their headquarters at the posted TB Unit, and these posts are not transferable. You will work under the overall administrative control of the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare (CH&FW) and the Mission Director, NHM Telangana, Hyderabad, with a 30-day termination notice from either side. The panel of selected candidates stays valid for filling any future vacancies for one year from the date of final selection. The District Collector reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel the selection process at any stage, and the decision will be final and binding. Selected candidates may also be required to undertake official tours as part of their duties.

3. Fill in your personal, educational, and contact details.
4. Attach self-attested copies of your SSC/date of birth certificate, Intermediate/10+2 marksheet, qualifying exam marks memos, Para Medical Board/relevant council registration certificate, driving license and computer course certificate (for STLS), and community/EWS/PH certificate if you are claiming reservation.
5. Paste a recent passport-size photograph on the application form.
6. Attach a Demand Draft of Rs. 300 in favour of DM&HO Jogulamba Gadwal, unless you belong to the fee-exempt SC/ST/PH category.
7. Submit the completed application in person or send it by registered post to the District Medical & Health Officer, F-30, IDOC, Jogulamba Gadwal District, before 17 July 2026, 5:00 PM. Applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected, and the District Selection Committee is not responsible for any delay in postal delivery.
