Responsibilities

  • Assist in spreading awareness about legal rights and free legal aid services available to the public
  • Help people from weaker sections of society access legal services through DLSA and Taluka Legal Services Committees
  • Support the organization and conduct of legal awareness camps at the village and community level
  • Guide people in filing applications for legal aid and connecting them with the right authorities
  • Assist in resolving minor disputes through mediation and Lok Adalat proceedings
  • Report to the DLSA or concerned Taluka Legal Services Committee as directed and attend training sessions
  • Maintain records of legal aid activities and beneficiaries served in the assigned area
