Who Can Apply?

• Eligible departments: Officers from Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territory Administrations can apply.
• Service condition option 1: You should be holding an analogous post on regular basis in your parent cadre or department.
• Service condition option 2: You should have 6 years regular service as Assistant Section Officer in Pay Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400).
• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institute.
• Experience: You need 3 years experience in establishment, personnel matters, purchase, or finance matters.
• Not eligible: Departmental officers in the direct line of promotion for the feeder category are not eligible for deputation consideration.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for deputation appointment is 56 years.
• Age is counted as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
• The deputation period, including deputation held just before this appointment, should not ordinarily exceed 5 years.

Salary

• Section Officer is in Pay Level 8 with salary of Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100 per month.
• Your pay and allowances on deputation will follow DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17 June 2010, as amended from time to time.
• You may also get deputation allowance and other admissible allowances as per Government of India rules.
