Dhule Municipal Corporation (DMC) has released a recruitment notification under the 15th Finance Commission funds for engaging Yoga Instructors at 22 urban health centres across Dhule city. This is a fully contractual appointment — selected instructors will not have the status of government employees. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in government or semi-government organisations or local self-government bodies.

Vacancy Breakdown

• Yoga Instructor: 22 posts (one per Urban Health Centre)

Maximum 1 session per day per instructor. A minimum of 5 sessions per centre will be conducted every month. An instructor may be allowed to take sessions at up to 2 centres.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Diploma or degree in Yoga from a recognised university or institution.
• Certification: Certificate from Yoga Certification Board (YCB), AYUSH Ministry, or any other government-recognised institute.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Yoga Instructor.

• Domicile: Maharashtra domicile certificate is required.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 38 years as on the date of application.

Salary

Selection Process

Selection will be done by a 3-member committee constituted by the Municipal Corporation. The steps are:

2. Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview by a 3-member committee at Dhule Municipal Corporation.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified at the interview stage.
