The Civil Surgeon, Raigad-Alibag is hiring 1 Staff Nurse on a purely contract basis under the Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society (MSACS), Wadala, Mumbai. The post is attached to the ART (Anti-Retroviral Therapy) Centre at the District Hospital, Alibag. This is an offline recruitment — you apply by post or in person, and there is no online form.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Sc Nursing OR GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery).
• Registration: You must be registered with a State Nursing Council.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 60 years as on the date of the advertisement (1 July 2026).
• Continuation in service is allowed up to 62 years for contractual service.

Salary

• You will get a fixed consolidated pay of Rs. 21,000 per month.
• Allowances like TA, DA and HRA are not payable — only the consolidated monthly amount is given.

Selection Process

Selection is done in the following way:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: Applications received by the last date are checked and shortlisted on merit and eligibility.
2. Written Examination / Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and/or interview.
3. Merit List: The appointment order is issued by the Civil Surgeon, Raigad-Alibag, as per the merit list.

Initially the appointment is given for 3 months as a probation period, and continuation depends on successful completion and performance evaluation.
