BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad — an institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), Department of Biotechnology, Government of India — has released Recruitment Notice No. THS-C/RN/12/2026 dated 12 May 2026. The position is under the CDSA centre for the DBT_AYUSH Adjunct TB Study funded by CCRAS. Online application is mandatory — walk-in is not available for this post. The role involves extensive travel to clinical sites across India.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualifications

• Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG) in any branch of Life Sciences with 5 years of post-qualification experience in clinical trial monitoring
• OR PhD in any branch of Life Sciences with 2 years of post-qualification experience in clinical trial monitoring

Desirable Skills

• Experience of clinical trial or public health project management in an academic clinical trials unit, CRO, pharma, biotech or device company
• Line management and project management experience
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, GDocP and human subject protection
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic clinical trial systems (EDC, CTMS, eTMF)
• Willingness to travel extensively to clinical sites across India at short notice

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years (as on closing date of online application — 1 June 2026)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for UR-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD, 15 years for SC/ST-PwBD
• Central Government servants get up to 5 years relaxation. Ex-servicemen relaxation as per rules

Salary

• Monthly emoluments: Rs. 78,000 per month plus HRA
• The position is short-term and contractual — extension is based on satisfactory performance and project tenure
• No claim for regularisation of employment

Selection Process

Selection will be done through scrutiny followed by a written test, skill test or interview:

1. Application Scrutiny: Applications will be screened based on qualification and relevant experience
2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process at THSTI, Faridabad
3. Document Verification: Bring originals plus one set of photocopies of all educational and experience documents

• Conduct site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring and close-out visits as per approved monitoring plans
• Perform onsite and remote monitoring to ensure subject safety, protocol adherence and data accuracy
• Review source documents, CRFs and informed consent forms to ensure GCP compliance
• Identify and follow up on protocol deviations, non-compliance issues and data discrepancies
• Support audit and inspection readiness and follow up on CAPAs
• Deliver GCP, GDocP and monitoring-related training to site staff and study teams
• Coordinate with central study team, data management and Quality/CPM leadership for effective study oversight
• Travel extensively to clinical sites across India, including short-notice and extended visits
