BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council under the Department of Biotechnology, has released Recruitment Notice No. THS/RN/05/2026 dated 11 May 2026. The Assistant Data Manager position is for the project "A Multicentric Evaluation of Indian Population-Specific Tools for Antenatal Estimation of Gestational Age" led by Dr. Nitya Wadhwa. Selection is through walk-in interview only — no online application is required.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualifications (any one of the following)

• Post Graduate degree in Computer Application / Computer Science / Data Science with at least 2 years of post-qualification work experience in clinical data management
• OR Graduate degree in Computer Science / Computer Application with at least 4 years of post-qualification work experience in clinical data management
• OR Graduate degree in any discipline with a computer diploma (minimum 6 months) from a recognised Institute/University, with at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in clinical data management

Essential Experience

• Experience in Clinical Data Management and Database Administration
• Demonstrated experience in preparing Clinical Study Data Management documents
• Demonstrated experience in software validation and documentation

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of clinical database development
• Knowledge of R / Python / STATA
• Sound IT skills, knowledge of server and hardware maintenance

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years (as on date of walk-in interview — 1 June 2026)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for UR-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD, 15 years for SC/ST-PwBD
• Central Government servants get up to 5 years relaxation. Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per defence service rendered plus 3 years

Salary

• Monthly emoluments: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated)
• The position is short-term and contractual — extension is granted based on satisfactory performance and project tenure
• No claim for regularisation of employment

Selection Process

Selection is through walk-in mode at THSTI Faridabad:

1. Walk-in Reporting: Reach THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad-121001 at 9:00 AM on 1 June 2026
2. Document Verification: Bring latest CV/resume, originals and one set of photocopies of all qualification and experience documents along with a valid ID card
3. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: Conducted at the THSTI venue on the same day

Note: Candidates arriving after the scheduled time slot will not be entertained. If many candidates appear, screening will be done to limit the number to those with higher or relevant qualification and experience. Mobile phones must be deposited at the reception with a valid ID.

• Support the Data Manager in overseeing study data management and ensure timely delivery of key tasks with quality
• Assist with central data management in coordination with site teams
• Help develop and implement data management standards including data protection, security and backup plans
• Contribute to creating, reviewing and finalising the Data Management Plan (DMP) and working practice documents
• Assist in developing edit checks documentation for the studies
• Participate in data management, query resolution and data cleaning activities
• Generate timely reports to track study progress and identify non-compliance triggers
• Develop automations to reduce manual errors and turnaround times
