BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has released Recruitment Notice No. THS/RN/05/2026 dated 11 May 2026 for short-term project positions across 5 research projects. Who Can Apply?

For Project Research Scientist-II — Rs. 67,000/month + HRA (Max age 40):

• Qualification: Post Graduate degree (including integrated PG) in Life Sciences with 3 years of post-qualification experience
• Areas of experience: Bacterial/virus pathogen culture; designing PCR primers; single-plex and multiplex PCR/qPCR assays; in-silico genome analysis

For Project Research Scientist-I — Rs. 56,000/month + HRA (Max age 35):

• Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences from a recognised university
• Desirable: Experience in cell culture, protein purification, animal handling, recombinant DNA technology, first-author research paper with impact factor 5+

For Project Research Scientist-I (Medical) — Rs. 67,000/month + HRA (Max age 35):

• Qualification: MBBS/BDS/BVSc or equivalent degree from a recognised university
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Randomized Controlled Trials in cardiovascular health
• Desirable: Project management in clinical setting, SPSS, MS Excel
• Posting: AIIMS, New Delhi

For Assistant Data Manager — Rs. 50,000/month (Max age 35):

• Qualification: PG in Computer Application/Computer Science/Data Science with 2 years clinical data management experience, OR Graduate in CS with 4 years, OR Graduate in any discipline + 6-month computer diploma + 5 years
• Skills: Clinical data management, database administration, R/Python/STATA

For Project Technical Support-II — Rs. 20,000/month + HRA (Max age 28):

• Qualification: 12th Science with DMLT + 5 years lab experience, OR 3-year graduate degree + 2 years lab experience

For Project Technical Support-I — Rs. 18,000/month + HRA (Max age 28):

• Qualification: 10th + DMLT + 2 years lab experience, OR 3-year graduate degree + 1 year lab experience

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist-II: Maximum 40 years
• Project Research Scientist-I (all variants): Maximum 35 years
• Assistant Data Manager: Maximum 35 years
• Project Technical Support-I & II: Maximum 28 years
• Crucial Date: The interview date for each post
• Age Relaxation:

  • PwBD UR: 10 years; PwBD OBC: 13 years; PwBD SC/ST: 15 years

Selection Process

Selection is purely through walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Written Test / Skill Test / Interview at THSTI Faridabad on the date specified for each post
2. Screening: If many candidates appear, shortlisting will be done based on higher/relevant qualification and experience
3. Document Verification: Originals must be produced at the interview

• Screen, consent, enrol and randomise participants for clinical trials as per the approved protocol
• Perform baseline and follow-up assessments, documenting clinical status and adverse events
• Dispense investigational products, maintain drug accountability and assess patient adherence
• Design PCR primers and develop single-plex and multiplex qPCR assays for emerging pathogens
• Carry out protein expression, ELISA, neutralisation assays and flow cytometry for vaccine research
• Manage clinical data, develop edit checks, validate software and produce Data Management Plans
• Support lab operations including autoclaving, buffer preparation, inventory and animal handling
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICMR National Ethical Guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements
