Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) is hiring 3 Contract Engineers (Field Firing) at its Corporate Office in Hyderabad. This post is open only to retired Ex-Servicemen (JCO/Master Technician/Technician/Havildar Major Technical from the EME Corps) with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent Army-certified courses. You must apply through an authorised sponsoring agency, and your application must reach BDL by 21 August 2026. Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Mini Ratna defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for 3 Contract Engineer (Field Firing) posts at its Gachibowli, Hyderabad corporate office. These are contract positions for 4 years (extendable yearly), with your monthly pay rising by 5% every year on successful completion of your contract term. Only retired Ex-Servicemen from the EME Corps with hands-on experience in Anti-Tank Guided Missile systems like Konkurs-M, Invar and Milan are eligible to apply, and your initial place of posting will be Bhanur (Sangareddy District), Telangana, though you can be transferred to any BDL unit across the country.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Diploma in Electronics Engineering, or Army-certified courses in Electronics/GCE (General Certificate of Education).
• Rank: You must be a retired Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), Master Technician (GCE), Technician (GCE), or Havildar Major Technical (GCE) from the EME Corps.
• Experience: You need hands-on knowledge of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles such as Konkurs-M (9M113M), Invar and Milan — including inspection with 9B811M/KMTE test panels, operation of the Unified Launcher 9P135M, and knowledge of BMP-II and T-90 tanks. Field firing experience with Konkurs-M and Invar missiles is required, along with maintenance experience on 9B812M and 9B811M test panels.
• Desirable: Knowledge of repair and maintenance of general-purpose electrical test equipment like multimeters, power supplies, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters and insulation strength testers.

Age Limit

• Your age, including all applicable relaxations, should not exceed 55 years as on 17 July 2026.

Salary

• You will get a fixed monthly consolidated pay of Rs. 42,000 plus Rs. 1,000 telephone expenses, totalling Rs. 47,000 per month.
• No other benefits apply besides this consolidated remuneration.
• Your pay will increase by 5% every year on successful completion of each year of your contract.
• You will get 1.5 days of leave for every completed month of your contract.

Selection Process (Through Sponsoring Agency)

This is not a direct-application post. Your candidature will be screened and forwarded by one of the authorised sponsoring agencies before BDL considers you for selection based on your qualification, experience and service record.

2. Collect the Bio-data Form from the agency.
3. Fill in the Bio-data Form and attach self-attested certificates for your age, education, experience and service record.
4. Submit the filled form and certificates to your chosen agency by post or email.
5. Ensure the agency forwards your application to BDL by 21 August 2026 — applications not sponsored by an agency will not be considered.
