AIIMS Raebareli Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raebareli has released advertisement No. AIIMS/RBL/BC/131-B for the post of Senior Research Fellow. The post is under a research project funded by SERB (Science and Engineering Research Board), India through a Core Research Grant, titled "Functional characterization of Plasmodium falciparum exported proteins and associated phosphorylation events." The Principal Investigator is Dr. Ankit Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry. This is a purely temporary, project-based post with a tenure of about 2.5 months, so it suits candidates who want hands-on research experience in molecular biology and malaria research.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (any one)

• M.Sc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology or any stream of Life Sciences with at least 2 years of research experience, OR
• M.Tech in Biotechnology

Desirable

• Qualified in NET / GATE / GPAT
• Prior research experience in molecular cloning and malaria parasite culture

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 32 years
• Age Relaxation: SC / ST / OBC candidates get relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Consolidated salary of Rs. 42,000 per month
• Plus HRA (House Rent Allowance) as per rules
• No hostel or other accommodation will be provided by the Institute.

Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: If you meet the eligibility, you can directly appear for the interview on the given date and time. There is no separate online application.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates for age, qualification and experience will be checked at the venue.

Candidates already in government service must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer.
