All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has released a notice for 3 posts under the Extramural Research Project titled "Regional Level Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory," funded by DHR-ICMR, under Principal Investigator Dr. Ravisekhar Gadepalli. All posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project — there is no right to permanent employment or continuation of service beyond the project. Candidates from Microbiology, Virology, and Data Analysis backgrounds can apply depending on the post. Who Can Apply?

Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) - Rs. 67,000 + HRA/month:

• M.Sc. + Ph.D in a relevant subject, with 4 years of R&D or teaching experience.
• Preferred: Experience in Microbiology/Virology techniques, post-doctoral research, and knowledge of Bioinformatics or Big Data handling.

Research Assistant - Rs. 35,000/month:

• Post Graduate degree in Medical Microbiology, Microbiology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Life Science.
• Work experience in clinical virology or microbiology.

Data Entry Operator - Rs. 20,000/month:

• Graduate degree, proficient in using MS Office and data analysis.

Age Limit

• Research Scientist-II: up to 40 years.
• Research Assistant: up to 35 years.
• Data Entry Operator: up to 25 years.
• Age Relaxation: Age concession equal to service rendered in other research projects may be given to experienced candidates on a case-to-case basis (applicable only for the ICMR project post).

Salary

• Research Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA.
• Research Assistant: Rs. 35,000 per month (consolidated).
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated).
• The salary is a consolidated amount without additional benefits, based on your experience and qualifications.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection is through:

1. Walk-In Interview: Report in person with your documents on the scheduled date.
2. Document Verification: Bring original and self-attested photocopies of age, qualification, and experience certificates.

Only for Research Scientist-II: you may alternatively request an online interview by emailing your application before the deadline.
