AIIMS New Delhi Project Technical Support-III Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Dr B.R. Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (BRAIRCH), AIIMS Delhi has released a notification for 3 Project Technical Support-III posts under the extramural project AIRCARE (Air Pollution and Cancer Research Ecosystem), funded by The BMS Foundation. The project focuses on environmental health and lung cancer risk, and you will work under Principal Investigator Dr Abhishek Shankar, Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology. No written exam is required — selection is done purely through shortlisting and a walk-in interview, which makes this a quick route into a government-linked research career.

As a Project Technical Support-III staff member, your daily deliverables will include:

• Supporting environmental monitoring and participant data collection activities
• Operating and carrying out routine checks of environmental monitoring devices
• Conducting questionnaires and field-based assessments
• Assisting in basic sample handling and logistics when required
• Maintaining digital records and field logs, and sharing routine field activity updates

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (any one): Master's Degree in Science, Environmental Science, Public Health, Social Sciences or Social Work
• OR: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (Science / Environmental Science / Social Sciences / Social Work) with 3 years of work experience
• OR: B.Tech / B.E. in a relevant branch of Environmental Sciences (Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology, Environmental Management, Climate or Sustainability Engineering)
• Desirable: work experience in Public Health, Environmental Science, Life Science, Social Science or Social Work; field data collection experience; experience in biomedical, biotechnology, molecular or translational research laboratories; experience with NGS preparation and sequencing platforms; ability to operate and maintain molecular biology instruments; experience with environmental monitoring devices and sensors; knowledge of IT applications and MS Office; and experience in research publications, data analysis, project writing and article writing

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 35 years to apply for this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed salary of Rs. 37,000 per month for this contractual research post.
• This is a consolidated monthly pay — no separate allowances are mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

AIIMS Delhi will select Project Technical Support-III candidates in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: Your application is screened based on your qualifications, experience, and the desirable skills listed in the notification.
2. Walk-in Interview: Only shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending it.
