The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is a Grant-In-Aid Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and a constituent unit of the Tata Memorial Centre. Located in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, it is one of India's leading cancer treatment, research and training institutes, running specialised departments including Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain. The Centre has invited applications, vide Advertisement No. ACTREC/ADVT.160/2026, for the post of Technician (Anesthesia) on an ad-hoc basis in this department. Anaesthesia technicians play a critical role at a cancer specialty hospital - they support surgeries, critical care and pain-management procedures by assisting the medical team with life-support equipment and patient monitoring. This role is initially for one year, extendable based on the Centre's requirement. No written test is involved - eligible candidates are selected directly through a walk-in interview at the ACTREC campus.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Sc. with 50% marks and a one-year certificate/Diploma in ICU / OT Techniques / Respiratory Therapy Techniques / Dialysis Techniques.
• OR: Bachelor's degree in Paramedical Technology (OT Techniques) / Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Essential Experience: One year of work experience as an ICU / OT Technician.
• Desirable Experience: Experience in dialysis is an added advantage.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 30 years old as on the advertisement date (12 August 2026).

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, depending on your work experience and educational qualification.
• This is a fixed, consolidated pay - no separate breakup of allowances is mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

ACTREC will select candidates directly through a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Bring your bio-data, photograph and Xerox copies of your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, educational certificates and experience certificates for verification.
2. Interview: Eligible candidates will be interviewed on the spot at the venue.
