BRIC-THSTI Research Scientist Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) is an institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council under the Department of Biotechnology. Who Can Apply?

Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst)

• Qualification: Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Experience: You need 4 years post-qualification experience in LC-MS/MS based bioanalysis, BA/BE setup, CRO, translational research lab, method development, validation, and PK sample analysis.
• Desirable: Experience in setting up a bioanalytical lab, compliant workflows, USFDA/EMA guidance, ICH M10, and awareness of 21 CFR Part 58.

Project Research Scientist-III (Medical)

• Qualification: MD, MDS, MPH, Ph.D, or equivalent degree with a basic MBBS/BDS degree from a recognised university.
• Experience: You need 3 years post-qualification experience in clinical research.
• Desirable: Clinical research experience, writing and communication skills, Microsoft Office, organisation skills, and time management.

Project Research Scientist-II

• Qualification: PG degree in Life Sciences with at least 3 years post-qualification research lab experience, or Ph.D in Life Sciences.
• Desirable: Placental organoid culture experience, molecular biology, and cellular biology techniques.

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist-II: Maximum age 40 years.
• Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst): Maximum age 45 years.
• Project Research Scientist-III (Medical): Maximum age 45 years.
• Age reference date: The interview date of the respective post is the crucial date for age, qualification, and experience.
• Relaxation: SC/ST gets 5 years, OBC gets 3 years, PwBD gets 10/13/15 years as applicable, Central Government servants get up to 5 years, institute employees get relaxation equal to service rendered, and ex-servicemen get defence service plus 3 years as per rules.

Salary

• Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst): Rs. 1,20,000 per month consolidated.
• Project Research Scientist-III (Medical): Rs. 93,000 per month plus HRA.
• Project Research Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA.
• These are short-term project positions; regularisation is not promised in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through written test, skill test, and/or interview at THSTI, depending on the number of candidates and post requirement.

1. Walk-in Reporting: Report at THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad - 121001 at 9:00 AM on the post-wise date.
2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: THSTI may conduct one or more of these stages for screening and final selection.
3. Document Verification: Bring latest CV/resume, one set of photocopies, originals, and a valid ID card for checking.
