Who Can Apply?

Project Research Scientist-II - Life Sciences

• Qualification: You need a Post Graduate degree, including integrated PG degree, in Life Sciences from a recognized university with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a research lab.
• Alternative: You can also apply with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from a recognized university.
• Preferred skills: Placental organoid culture work, disease modelling, therapeutic research, and molecular or cellular biology techniques.

Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst)

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: You need at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in LC-MS/MS-based bioanalysis, preferably in BA/BE setup, CRO, translational research lab, or regulatory-compliant PK sample analysis.
• Preferred skills: Bioanalytical laboratory setup, analytical workflows, USFDA/EMA guidance, ICH M10 method validation, and awareness of 21 CFR Part 58 GLP rules.

Project Research Scientist-III (Medical)

• Qualification: You need M.D., MDS, MPH, Ph.D., or equivalent degree with a basic degree as MBBS or BDS from a recognized university, including integrated PG degrees.
• Experience: You need 3 years of post-qualification experience in clinical research.
• Preferred skills: Clinical research exposure, strong writing and verbal communication, Microsoft Office skills, organization, problem-solving, and time management.

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist-II: Maximum age is 40 years on the walk-in interview date.
• Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst): Maximum age is 45 years on the walk-in interview date.
• Project Research Scientist-III (Medical): Maximum age is 45 years on the walk-in interview date.
• Age relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, PwBD candidates get 10 to 15 years based on category, Central Government servants can get up to 5 years, and Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per service plus 3 years.

Salary

• Project Research Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA.
• Research Scientist (Senior Bioanalyst): Rs. 1,20,000 per month consolidated.
• Project Research Scientist-III (Medical): Rs. 93,000 per month plus HRA.
• These are short-term project posts. Appointment does not give any claim for regular government service.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through the post-wise walk-in process at BRIC-THSTI, Faridabad.

1. Document Verification: Bring original certificates, photocopies, CV, experience proof, and valid ID for checking.
2. Written Test or Skill Test: THSTI may conduct a written test or skill test depending on the post and number of candidates.
3. Interview: Final selection is based on performance in the selection process held on the post-wise walk-in date.

If many candidates attend, THSTI may screen candidates based on higher or more relevant qualification and experience.

• Develop and optimize lateral flow assays for diagnostic and analytical research work
• Operate and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS and HPLC systems for bioanalytical studies

• Supervise clinical trial site activities including enrolment, consent, CRF work, and training
• Monitor GCP compliance, study protocol adherence, safety reporting, and audit readiness
• Keep accurate experimental, laboratory, and clinical trial records for review
• Coordinate with investigators, ethics committees, study sites, and data management teams
• Guide junior analysts, laboratory staff, and research study staff during project work
