National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (National CAMPA) is a statutory organisation under MoEFCC, constituted under the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act, 2016. The circular dated 4 June 2026 fills administrative, accounts, forestry technical, secretarial and legal roles on deputation basis for five years. This is meant for officers already working in government, PSU or autonomous organisations, not for freshers.

Role-wise Work Areas

• Under Secretary: Court cases, Parliament work, vigilance, RTI, budget/accounts matters, establishment, finance, general administration and regulatory matters.
• Technical Officer (Forestry): Annual Plan of Operations, State Authority policy matters, monitoring activities and proposals for new schemes.
• Accounts posts: Pre-audit, passing of bills, preparation of accounts, statutory deductions, tax deductions and deposit work.
• Secretarial posts: Secretarial support to members and senior officers, including office assistance and documentation.
• Legal Assistant/Law Officer: Legal records, preliminary legal examination of cases, draft petitions and rejoinders.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for deputation: 56 years.
• Age will be counted as on 1 January 2025, as stated in the circular.

Salary

• Level-11 posts: Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month.
• Level-10 post: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• Level-8 posts: Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100 per month.
• Level-7 posts: Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month.
• Level-6 post: Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
• Level-5 post: Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month.
• Pay of selected officers will be regulated as per DoPT O.M. dated 17 June 2010, as amended from time to time.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The notice does not mention a written exam. Selection is based on deputation eligibility, proper-channel forwarding, service record and required clearances.

The forwarding department must verify the details before sending the application. The notice asks for up-to-date ACR dossiers or attested ACR copies, vigilance clearance showing no pending or contemplated disciplinary/criminal proceedings, a statement of minor/major penalties if any, and an integrity certificate.
