- Route 2: You should be an LDC with 8 years of regular service in Level 2 or equivalent.
Account Assistant
- Service condition: You must be an officer under the Central Government, State Government, Courts or Tribunals.

- Accounts training: You should have training in Cash and Accounts work from ISTM or an equivalent Central Government institute.

Salary
- Assistant: Pay Level 6, Rs. 35,400 to 1,12,400 per month.

- Upper Division Clerk: Pay Level 4, Rs. 25,500 to 81,100 per month.
- Account Assistant: Pay Level 6, Rs. 35,400 to 1,12,400 per month.
