Who Can Apply?

Registrar

• Qualification: Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Experience: Analogous post, or senior teaching/research/administrative experience as described in the annexure.
• Mode: Deputation including short-term contract.

Librarian and Assistant Librarian

• Librarian: Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and required senior library experience.
• Assistant Librarian: Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, superior knowledge of computerized library service, and NET/SLET/SET as applicable.

Executive Engineer, Medical Officer and Technical Assistant

• Executive Engineer: First Class B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or eligible institute service as Assistant Engineer.
• Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act, with registration in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
• Technical Assistant: First Class B.E./B.Tech/MCA in relevant subject, or First Class Engineering Diploma, or First Class Bachelor's Degree in Science, or Master's Degree in Science with at least 50% marks.

Age Limit

• Registrar: Maximum 56 years.
• Librarian: Maximum 56 years.
• Assistant Librarian: Maximum 35 years.
• Executive Engineer: Maximum 35 years.
• Medical Officer: Maximum 35 years.
• Technical Assistant: Maximum 30 years.
• Reference date: Qualification, experience and age are counted as on 30 June 2026.
• Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories get relaxation as per Government of India norms.

Salary

• Registrar and Librarian: Pay Level 14, usually Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month.
• Assistant Librarian, Executive Engineer and Medical Officer: Pay Level 10, usually Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• Technical Assistant: Pay Level 6, usually Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
• Medical Officer: Non-Practising Allowance is applicable as per government instructions.
• Other allowances will be as per applicable NIT / Government of India rules.

Application Fee

• UR / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1,200 per post.
• SC / ST / PwBD / Women: Rs. 600 per post.
• Payment mode: SBI Collect only, under Application fee for Non-Faculty Recruitment 2026.
• If you apply for multiple posts, you must pay the fee separately for each post.

Selection Process
