Rajiv Gandhi University, Department of Psychology, has released Notice No. RGU/PC/DRDO-677/SPM/2026 dated 12 August 2026 for 2 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts under a DRDO-funded research project titled "Cultural Value Orientations and Military Qualities: Mapping Regional Variations Among Adolescents and Young Adults across North-East Indian States." The project is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Satchit Prasun Mandal. There is no online application — this is a walk-in interview, and the position is purely temporary and time-bound, co-terminus with the project. Rajiv Gandhi University is a central university located at Rono Hills, Doimukh, in Arunachal Pradesh.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Post-graduate degree in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks, along with NET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D.
• Final-Year Candidates: If you have appeared for your final postgraduate exams and are awaiting results, you can still apply, but you must meet the minimum qualification by the time of joining.

Salary

• Selected JRFs get a consolidated salary of Rs. 37,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
• No Travel Allowance (TA/DA) is paid for appearing in the interview.
