Cement Corporation of India Limited (CCI), a Central Government public sector company that makes and markets cement, is engaging a Consultant (Chemical) for its Tandur Cement Factory in Telangana. This is a fixed-term role for a retired or serving senior production professional who understands how a cement plant laboratory supports stable kiln and grinding operations. The work sits directly between process testing and plant control: laboratory readings have to reach the operating sections quickly enough for them to correct process parameters.

The consultant will work around raw-mill, kiln-feed, clinker, coal and finished-cement samples rather than in a general administrative assignment. Shift-wise accuracy and clear communication with plant operators are central to the role because every test result becomes part of the production record. Experience from the cement industry receives preference, making this opening particularly relevant to people who have spent a long career in process control or production laboratories. Consistent log-sheet entries also support a clean shift handover, helping the next team trace a change in material quality or an operating correction without losing the sequence of results.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the engagement begins for one year and may be extended when your performance and CCI's operational need justify it. The contract can also be ended by management according to the corporation's requirement without notice.
• Place of work: Tandur Cement Factory is the initial work location, but CCI may post the selected consultant elsewhere in India when required.
• Leave: the contract carries 12 days of paid leave for a full year of engagement, credited at one day per month.
• Benefits: the appointment is on a lump-sum contract basis and does not carry ESI or EPF benefits.
• Interview travel: CCI will not provide accommodation or reimburse TA or DA for attending the walk-in.
• Service record: engagement of a person coming from a government body or PSU depends on receipt of vigilance clearance and a clear record.
• Medical fitness: the post remains subject to CCI's prescribed medical standards and review of the required medical report.
