ACTREC Consultant Anaesthesia Recruitment 2026: Overview

Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), part of Tata Memorial Centre, is engaging an Ad-hoc Consultant in Anaesthesia for its Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC is a grant-in-aid institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and the department supports cancer procedures where anaesthesia, peri-operative care, critical-care decisions and pain services are closely linked.

This is an initial one-year engagement that the Centre may extend according to its needs. The role is designed for an anaesthesia specialist who can move into a teaching-hospital environment with limited settling-in time and work alongside clinical teams caring for oncology patients. Because it is an ad-hoc appointment, continued engagement depends on the Centre's requirement rather than a regular service position.

The notice offers two ways to take part: you may report in person or ask ACTREC for a Zoom interview. That flexibility can help doctors who are working outside Navi Mumbai, but the remote option needs an advance email with readable supporting records. Your clinical background should be presented clearly, especially the work completed after your postgraduate anaesthesia qualification, because the advertised salary band depends on work experience.

Service Conditions and Caveats
