- Preference is given first to MBBS / postgraduate / diploma specialty holders during the walk-in.
- If posts remain vacant after Group-A interviews, contractual MBBS officers from regular government schemes may be appointed until regular MBBS doctors join.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
Selection is purely through walk-in interview:
- Walk-in Interview: Every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the District Health Officer's Office, Ahilyanagar.
- Document Verification: All original certificates and one set of attested copies must be brought along.
- Merit Assessment: The District Selection Committee evaluates qualification, experience, and specialty preference.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and OPD services to patients at the assigned Primary Health Centre or Rural Hospital
- Handle emergency cases and refer serious patients to higher-level hospitals
- Conduct national health programme activities like immunisation, maternal and child health drives
- Supervise paramedical staff, ANMs and health workers at the assigned facility
- Maintain medical records, prescriptions, and reports as per Maharashtra Public Health rules
- Participate in health awareness camps, vaccination drives and disease surveillance
- Issue medico-legal certificates and assist in postmortem when required
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
MBBS / Postgraduate / Diploma in relevant specialty (Group A); BAMS (Group B). Valid MMC registration required.
Preferred Qualification
MBBS with Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in a clinical specialty
