Who Can Apply?

  • Central Administrator: Master's degree in Law, Social Work, Sociology, Social Science or Psychology with at least 5 years of experience in women-related programmes.
  • Para Legal / Lawyer: A law degree with legal training and 3 years experience, or a practicing lawyer with 2 years of court litigation.
  • Psycho-Social Counsellor: A professional degree or diploma in psychology, psychiatry or neurosciences with 3 years experience.
  • Para Medical Personnel: A professional degree or diploma in paramedics with a health-sector background and 3 years experience.
  • Office Assistant: A graduate with a computer/IT diploma and 3 years experience in data management.

Social Worker Posts (Rs. 18,536):

  • DCPU Social Worker: A graduate, preferably B.A in Social Work or Sociology, with computer proficiency.
  • SAA Social Worker cum Early Childhood Educator: Bachelor's or PG in Social Work (MSW) or PG diploma in Psychology/Early Childhood Care with at least 2 years experience.

Support Posts (Rs. 7,944):

  • Ayah: Local women candidates with a clean record.
  • House Keeper: 10th class pass/fail with 3 years housekeeping experience and a physical fitness certificate.

Age Limit

  • You should be between 25 and 42 years old as on 1 July 2026.

Salary

  • Salary depends on the post and ranges from Rs. 7,944 to Rs. 34,000 per month.
  • Central Administrator: Rs. 34,000 — the highest-paid post.
  • Para Legal and Psycho-Social Counsellor: Rs. 20,000 each.
  • Para Medical and Office Assistant: Rs. 19,000 each.
  • Social Worker posts: Rs. 18,536 each.
  • Ayah and House Keeper: Rs. 7,944 each.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam. Selection is done through:

  1. Shortlisting: Only qualified candidates are shortlisted based on their qualifications and experience.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview.
  3. Document Verification: Original certificates are checked before final selection.

Note: If enough applications are not received under SC Group-II, applications under SC Group-III will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Support women and children in need of care and protection at the centre
  • Provide counselling, legal aid or medical help based on your role
  • Maintain case records and follow child-protection guidelines
  • Coordinate with police, hospitals and NGOs on women and child issues
  • Help run the day-to-day operations of the DCPU, adoption agency or one stop centre
  • Assist in the care, hygiene and safety of children in the home
  • Prepare reports and submit them to the district office

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Varies by post: 10th pass to Master's degree. Support posts need 10th class; professional posts need a Graduate, PG or professional degree in Social Work, Law, Psychology or Paramedics.

Preferred Qualification

Post-graduate degree in Social Work (MSW), Law, Psychology or Paramedics with relevant experience

Required Skills

Social work, counselling, legal aid, child protection, computer/MS Office proficiency, communication in English and Telugu
