The Directorate of Secondary Health, Guntur District, under the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh, has released Notification No. 02/2026 to fill 15 vacant Paramedical and supporting staff posts in government hospitals across Guntur District. The jobs are offered on an outsourcing basis under the control of the DCHS, Guntur. There is no written exam — selection is based on your qualifying marks and work experience weightage. The appointment is initially for one year and may be extended based on your performance and the department's needs. • GDA / MNO / FNO (General Duty Assistant / Nursing Orderly): 12 posts

• Office Subordinate: 1 post

Reservation (Roster): The 12 GDA/MNO/FNO posts are split as OC-6, BC-B 1, BC-D 1, BC-E 1, SC 2 and EWS 1. Theatre Assistant is OC, Lab Attendant is SC, and Office Subordinate is BC-E.

The number of vacancies is provisional and may increase or decrease as per the department's need.

Who Can Apply?

You must have the right qualification for the post you are applying for:

Theatre Assistant, GDA/MNO/FNO and Office Subordinate

• You must have passed SSC / 10th Class or its equivalent from a recognised Board.

Lab Attendant

• You must have passed SSC / 10th Class or its equivalent, AND
• You must have a Lab Attendant Course OR Intermediate (Lab Attendant Vocational Course) from the AP Board of Intermediate Education or any institution recognised by the Government of AP.

Local Candidature (Important)

• Only candidates who studied 4th to 10th class within Guntur District are treated as Local. Those who studied in other AP districts are Non-Local, and those who studied in other states are not eligible.
• You may also need a valid registration with the AP Para Medical Board / Allied Health Sciences council where applicable.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 42 years (as on 30 June 2026).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates.
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus the length of service in the armed forces.
• Differently abled (PwD): 10 years relaxation (maximum age up to 52 years).

Salary

• All posts pay a fixed salary of Rs. 15,000 per month.
• The pay is consolidated and paid on an outsourcing/contract basis.

Application Fee

• OC (General) candidates: Rs. 500
• EWS / BC / SC / ST candidates: Rs. 300
• Physically Handicapped candidates: No fee

Pay the fee by Demand Draft (DD) in favour of DCHS, Guntur and attach it with your application. If you apply for more than one post, attach a separate DD for each post.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written test. Selection is done on a merit and weightage basis (out of 100 marks):

1. Academic Marks (75%): Based on the total marks you got in all years of your qualifying examination.
2. Experience Weightage (up to 15 marks): For past government service — 2.5 marks per 6 months in tribal areas, 2 marks in rural areas and 1 mark in urban areas. Extra marks are given for Covid-19 duty service.
3. Years Since Passing (up to 10 marks): 1 mark for each completed year after you got the required qualification.
4. Document Verification: Your certificates are checked before final selection.

A final merit list is prepared and it stays valid for one year for filling any new vacancies that come up.

2. Fill in the application form and attach self-attested copies of all required certificates.
3. Prepare a Demand Draft for the fee in favour of DCHS, Guntur.
4. Submit the filled application in person or by Registered Post to: O/o DCHS, Opp. Indian Oil Petrol Bunk, Pattabhipuram, Main Road, Guntur-6.
5. Reach before 5:00 PM on 10 July 2026 and get a dated acknowledgement as proof.

Applications sent by any mode other than physical submission or registered post will not be accepted. Late applications are rejected.
