BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) Project Technical Support-III Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

The BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad, is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology. It carries out translational health research at the NCR Biotech Science Cluster and works on turning lab ideas into products that improve human health. Under Recruitment Notice No. THS/RN/11/2026, the institute is filling 4 Project Technical Support-III posts under the project "Development of a qPCR-based diagnostic array for surveillance of emerging and zoonotic viral and bacterial diseases". The work involves handling clinical and lab samples, running molecular tests and helping build a diagnostic tool for tracking new and animal-to-human diseases. This is a walk-in recruitment, so you attend the interview directly on the given date.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognised university with 3 years of research laboratory experience, OR a Post-Graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognised university.
• Skills you should have: Hands-on experience with molecular biology methods such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR/RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, ELISA, gene cloning and primer design.
• Bonus skills: Bacterial isolation and identification, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and using bioinformatics tools to predict nucleic acid structures.

Age Limit

• Your age should not be more than 35 years.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and women candidates as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Rs. 28,000 per month as consolidated pay, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per institute rules.
• This is a project-based post, so the pay is fixed and the job runs with the duration of the research project.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written test for this recruitment. Selection is done in a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on 9 July 2026 at the THSTI campus in Faridabad. The selection committee will check your qualification, experience and lab skills during the interview.
