MDU Field Staff Recruitment 2026: Overview

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak is hiring a Field Staff member for a research project in its Department of Education. The project is funded by the Haryana State Higher Education Council (HSHEC) and is titled "Mapping Inclusion: Evaluating the Availability, Accessibility, and Effective Use of Assistive Technologies and Special Educator Support in Government Schools of Haryana".

In simple words, the study checks whether children with disabilities in Haryana's government schools actually get assistive devices and special educator support. You will build the survey tools, visit schools across the state and collect the data that the Principal Investigator, Dr Vanita Rose, will analyse. This is a project-based, temporary job, so it suits education postgraduates who want hands-on research experience in inclusive education.

Candidates with a B.Ed or M.Ed in Special Education and those who have cleared UGC NET/JRF may be preferred, so mention these clearly in your CV if you have them.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The job is purely temporary and ends with the project, as per HSRF norms. The engagement will not go beyond the project period stated in the notice.
• Marks relaxation: SC/ST candidates and persons with disabilities get a 5% relaxation in the 55% marks condition, as per MDU rules.
• Field work: The work involves visiting government schools across Haryana for data collection.
• Travel costs: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
