Sainik School Rewari, the residential military-feeder school at Village Gothra Ahir in Rewari district, Haryana, is hiring contractual staff for five different roles, all in the unreserved category.The school needs a Medical Officer, a Nursing Assistant, a Counsellor, a PGT (Physical Education) and a PEM/PTI cum Matron to look after its boarding cadets. Posts and Disciplines

• Medical Officer: an MBBS doctor for the school's cadets; a paediatric specialisation, two years of practice as a doctor and computer skills earn preference.
• PEM/PTI cum Matron (Female only): a house-mother and physical training role open to women who can speak fluent English; mature women with experience of caring for children are preferred for the junior and holding houses.
• Nursing Assistant (Male only): needs a nursing diploma or degree with five years of experience, or ex-servicemen of the Medical Assistant trade with five years of service after training.
• Counsellor: for psychology or child development graduates and postgraduates, or graduates holding a Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling; past work as a wellness teacher in a residential school helps.
• PGT (Physical Education): a senior PE teaching post for M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. holders; state-level representation at a national event in a SAI-recognised sport is a plus.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract cycle: you first sign on for 11 months, followed by a one-month break; the contract can be renewed year by year.
• Three-year cap: the engagement can never go beyond three years from your first joining date. After that the school runs a fresh recruitment.
• Performance reviews: the Vice Principal or Administrative Officer rates you every quarter, and the Principal decides renewal on the basis of the four quarterly reports.
• No pay in breaks: salary is not paid during the one-month break or during school vacations when you are not on active duty.
• No claim to a regular job: you sign an undertaking or bond at joining that the contract gives you no right to permanent appointment.
• Early termination: the school can cut the contract short for administrative or policy reasons without paying any compensation, and it may cancel any vacancy if no suitable candidate turns up.
• No TA/DA: you bear your own travel cost for the selection process.
