BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) is an institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, based at the NCR Biotech Science Cluster in Faridabad. THSTI runs several research centres in areas such as maternal and child health, virus research, tuberculosis and drug discovery. It has released recruitment notice THS/RN/11/2026 dated 23 June 2026. This listing is for the Project Technical Support-III post under Dr. Ramachandran T.'s project, Secondary Data Analysis of Gestational Weight Gain and Maternal-Neonatal Outcomes in Indian Cohorts. Who Can Apply?

You can apply if you meet any one of the following qualifications:

• Option 1: Graduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or Bioinformatics from a recognised university, with 3 years of experience in R and computer programming for data analysis.
• Option 2: B.E. / B.Tech in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or Bioinformatics from a recognised university.
• Option 3: Post-Graduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or Bioinformatics from a recognised university.

If you apply under Option 2 or Option 3, you do not need any prior work experience. All degrees must be from a recognised Board or University. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 35 years as on the date of the walk-in interview (6 July 2026).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 5 years for Central Government servants.
• PwBD: 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST candidates with benchmark disabilities.
• Ex-servicemen: Relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 28,000 per month plus HRA (House Rent Allowance).
• This is a project-based (contract) position, and the pay stays fixed for the tenure of the project.
• These are short-term posts that run for the duration of the project. They do not give any right to permanent employment or regularization, and extension depends on your performance and the life of the project.

Selection Process

The selection is done through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview / Skill Test: You need to appear in person at THSTI, Faridabad on the interview date. The panel may hold a written test, skill test or interview to check your skills.
2. Screening: If a large number of candidates turn up, THSTI may shortlist you based on higher or more relevant qualification and experience.

The date of the interview is the crucial date for deciding your eligibility for age, experience and qualification. The number of posts may change based on the actual requirement at the time of the interview.

Important Dates

• Assist the Principal Investigator and Biostatistician with data analysis for the research project
• Prepare, clean and preprocess pooled datasets from different sources for statistical analysis
• Run exploratory data analysis, statistical tests and quality-control checks on the data
• Create data visualizations, tables and manuscript-ready figures
• Maintain detailed documentation for data cleaning, merging and variable creation
• Generate timely reports and support scientific writing for the study
• Handle routine administrative and documentation work for the project as assigned
