THSTI Apprentice Recruitment 2026

THSTI is hiring 9 Apprentices for the 2026-27 training year at its Faridabad campus. If you have a graduate degree or diploma in the relevant trade and scored at least 55% marks, you can apply online through the NATS portal. The last date to apply is 2 June 2026. The monthly stipend is Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 9,000 depending on your qualification.

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) has released Notice No. THS/2.7.4/2026 for apprentice engagement under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The institute works under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, and is part of the NCR Biotech Science Cluster at Faridabad. This is a 1-year apprenticeship for Biotechnology, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, and Electrical/Equipment Maintenance trades, so it is useful for fresh graduates and diploma holders who want hands-on training in a government research institute.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Biotechnology: You need B.Tech, B.E. or B.Sc in Life Sciences.
• Information Technology: You need graduation or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Application or an allied subject.
• Civil Engineering: You need graduation or diploma in Civil Engineering or an allied subject.
• Electrical and Equipment Maintenance: You need graduation in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering, or a diploma in an allied engineering subject.

Marks and Freshness Rules

• Minimum marks: You must have at least 55% marks in the qualifying graduation or diploma exam.
• CGPA rule: If your institute uses CGPA, you need CGPA 6 or above.
• Passing year: You must have passed the qualifying exam within the last 5 years.
• Not eligible: You cannot apply if you have already completed apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have 1 year work experience.

Other Conditions

• Fitness: You must meet the fitness standard prescribed under the apprenticeship rules.
• Reservation: SC, ST and OBC reservation rules under the Apprentices Act will be followed, and certificates must be in Government of India format.
• Correct details: Incomplete applications or wrong details on the NATS portal can lead to rejection.
• Updates: Any amendment, update or selected candidate list will be uploaded on the THSTI website.

Stipend

• Biotechnology Apprentice: Rs. 9,000 per month.
• Graduate apprentices in IT, Civil, Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation: Rs. 9,000 per month.
• Diploma apprentices in IT, Civil or allied engineering subjects: Rs. 8,000 per month.
• Training duration: 1 year.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

THSTI has not announced any written exam for this apprentice notice. Selection will be based on shortlisting by the institute and document checking through the NATS application data.

1. Online Application Review: THSTI will check the NATS application and uploaded documents.
2. Shortlisting: The institute may use its own shortlisting method and does not have to call every applicant who meets the minimum marks.
3. Document Verification: Your degree or diploma documents, Aadhaar details, bank details and reservation certificates, if applicable, will be checked.
4. Final Selection List: Updates and selected candidate lists will be uploaded only on the official THSTI website.

If you are shortlisted, keep your original certificates ready because the information submitted on NATS must match your documents. The institute has also stated that canvassing in any form can lead to disqualification.

How to Apply

1. Go to the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in.
2. If you already have NATS login details, sign in through the student login.
3. If you are a first-time user, complete student registration and generate your 12-digit enrolment number.
4. Open Apply against advertised vacancies and search for Translational Health Science & Technology Institute (THSTI).
5. Click apply for the THSTI apprentice vacancy and confirm that your status shows Applied.
6. Upload your photograph, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, degree or diploma certificates, provisional certificate or consolidated marksheet.
7. Enter your percentage of marks or CGPA correctly on the NATS portal, because missing marks details can lead to rejection.

Old NATS 1.0 users, NATS 2.0 users and first-time users can all apply through the same NATS portal. If you are migrating from the old portal, reset your password first, complete your profile, and then apply against the THSTI advertised vacancy.
