The Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. (TGCAB) has released a notification to engage a Cooperative Intern at the Hyderabad DCCB in Telangana. This is not an employment with the bank — it is a one-year internship aimed at supporting initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, at the grass-root level. Freshers with a postgraduate degree in management and Telugu language proficiency can apply.

Selected interns will be posted at the Head Office of the respective DCCB based on the chosen district. TGCAB may also transfer interns to any DCCB in Telangana based on functional needs.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBA or equivalent in Marketing Management, Cooperative Management, Agri Business Management, or Rural Development Management from a recognised University/Institute approved by Government of India or its regulatory bodies. OR a 2-year PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) awarded by an institution accredited by AICTE or UGC.
• Computer & Language: Proficiency in computer use and the Telugu language is essential.
• Nativity: You must be a local candidate of the State of Telangana.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 30 years (as on 01 May 2026)
• You must have been born on or after 02 May 1996 and not later than 01 May 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Salary

• Consolidated monthly stipend: Rs. 25,000
• TA/DA will be provided on par with Staff Assistants of the respective bank.
• No other allowance, benefit, or perk is admissible.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on merit drawn from your academic marks plus an interview. Steps are:

1. Application Scrutiny: The committee appointed by the bank will scrutinise applications received by the last date.
2. Merit List: Organisation-wise (TGCAB/DCCB) merit list is drawn on the basis of marks/percentage in SSC, 10+2, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and additional qualifications. Tie-breaker: older candidate ranks higher.
3. Interview: Short-listed candidates are informed by email.
4. Document Verification (DV): Selected candidates appear for DV at the TGCAB Head Office in Hyderabad before engagement.

Marks weightage (out of 50): SSC - 10, 10+2 - 10, Graduation - 10, Post-Graduation - 10, Additional Qualifications - 10 (2 marks each, max 10). Marks scale: Above 95% = 10, 91-95% = 9, 81-90% = 8, 61-80% = 7, 50-60% = 6, below 50% = 5.

• Coordinate with PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) and other primary cooperatives at the grass-root level
• Guide PACS in implementing initiatives launched by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India
• Solve daily problems faced by PACS in computerisation, business plans, projects, financing, and approvals
• Prepare and share weekly status reports of MoC initiatives in coordination with DCCB and TGCAB
• Associate with the PACS Cell at TGCAB and PACS Development Cell (PDC) at the assigned DCCB
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all documents, reports, and information accessed during the internship
• Handle any additional work assigned by the hiring bank from time to time
